MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Friday conferred the Order of Sikatuna on outgoing Australian Ambassador to the Philippines Hae Kyong Yu.

Yu received the award with the rank of Datu (Grand Cross), Gold Distinction, from Marcos during a farewell call at Malacañang. She had served in the position since 2022 and concluded her term in July.

The rank of Datu is the second-highest in the Order of Sikatuna, following the rank of Raja (Grand Collar), which is reserved for current and former heads of state or government.
