Most Thais support censure motion against Paetongtarn's cabinet

The majority of Thais said the opposition should file censure motion targeting Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra and the cabinet at once, an opinion survey has found.

The survey was carried out by the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA Poll) among 1,310 respondents, at least 18 years old, from around the country on March 3-4.

Regarding the opposition filed a censure motion targeting only Paetongtarn:


36.49%: Opposition should file a censure motion against Paetongtarn and the cabinet
31.83%: Agreed with censure motion against PM 
17.63%: Disagreed with censure motion against PM or ministers
11.91%: Opposition should file a censure motion against PM and some ministers
2.14%: Opposition should file censure motion against ministers, not PM
Regarding appropriate time for censure debate against PM:


37.25%: 3 days
24.89%: 2 days
21.30%: 5 days
11.68%: 1 day
4.35%: 4 days
0.53%: No comment
Regarding changes after censure debate:


53.44%: Paetongtarn will remain in the PM position
31.22%: There will be cabinet reshuffle
28.17%: Government coalition will remain the same
21.15%: Cabinet will remain the same
11.76%: Parliament dissolution will occur, leading to a new general election
6.64%: A change in PM who comes from a government coalition
6.11%: A change in PM who comes from Pheu Thai Party 
5.95%: A change in PM who comes from the opposition
5.80%: Political parties in the government coalition will decrease
5.11%: Political polarisation 
4.43%:Political parties in the government coalition will increase
0.76%: No comment
